Yo my opinion as of late,
you can't even call us great,
as I look at a society so largely run by hate.
Hatred for the other nations,
hatred for the black and brown,
hatred for these whole communities based all around a town.
Is anybody askin’ why?
Does anybody even try?
Pile shit on top of shit,
continue following the blind.
Can anybody use their mind?
Pacified by our surroundings,
just amusement till we die.
Got no love from our own government,
no love from the police,
got no love for economically unstable or diseased.
Minds preoccupied by greed,
got no idea what we need.
Legally dispensing poison,
we can't even smoke some weed?
Do you agree?
Can't you see?
Following so silently?
Take a stand,
we the people got more power than we see.

Know they got a cure for cancer,
probably Ebola too,
but without the fear of dying
can't control the living too.

We got this violence in the streets,
yo, increased globalization,
and yet still no hope for peace.
And they say as world gets smaller,
populations should improve,
over time and with support that they can grow and flourish too.
Is anybody callin' bullshit?
Anybody even try?
Why do we keep on supporting if we don't agree with why?
I said we don't agree with why-
shouldn't be afraid to live,
when everybody's born to die.
